Hey I am Ava Lineberger!!!

I am 8 years old and in the third grade at Catawba Springs Elementary School. I love to sing and dance. I first started singing in the first grade through an afterschool program. When my mom heard my singing part, she knew she needed to find a music school!

A few months later we had a trial lesson at Lake Norman Music School with Melissa Fowler (Ms. Mel). I love going to voice lessons with Ms. Mel. We have so much fun in class working on new songs. I have been at the music school for one year now. I have learned several Disney theme songs, and I am currently working on country themed songs. Ms. Mel encourages me to get on stage when I can and to go and watch others perform as well.

In April, I was in The Lincoln's Got Talent Show. Ms. Mel helped me with my song "Part of Your World". She helped me with my confidence and stage presence. She came to watch me when it was showtime to support me. I was so happy to see her there.

I sang at my school's talent show and at Lake Norman Brewery when the school was invited there in February and August. Being at Lake Norman Music School has given me several opportunities to do what I love.... SING!

In the next few months, I hope to try out a local musical. Thanks to the music school I have the courage to do that. I will see you on the stage!
